Titanic
Titanic is a 1997 American epic romance and disaster film directed, written, produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. Incorporating both historical and fictionalized aspects, it is based on accounts of the sinking of RMS Titanic, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage.

The film was released on December 19, 1997, and became a critical and commercial success, winning eleven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. It is the highest-grossing film of all time (unadjusted for inflation), and is widely regarded as one of the greatest films ever made.

The film tells the story of 17-year-old Rose DeWitt Bukater (Winslet), a wealthy socialite who is betrothed to Cal Hockley (Billy Zane), a wealthy industrialist. On board the Titanic, Rose meets Jack Dawson (DiCaprio), a poor artist who has won a ticket to America in a poker game. Rose is unhappy with her engagement to Cal, and Jack helps her to overcome her fear of drowning. The two fall in love, but their relationship is forbidden by Cal.

On April 14, 1912, the Titanic strikes an iceberg and begins to sink. Jack and Rose try to escape, but they are separated in the chaos. Jack sacrifices himself so that Rose can survive. Rose survives the sinking, and she eventually marries and has children. She never forgets Jack, and she dies in her sleep at the age of 100.

Titanic is a powerful and moving film that tells a timeless story of love and loss. The film's special effects are groundbreaking, and the performances by DiCaprio and Winslet are unforgettable. Titanic is a must-see for any fan of cinema.
